Who we are

PCB Insight is operated by Shanghai Bojing Industrial Co., Ltd. — a China-based engineering and sourcing company built around one belief: a prototype that passes a bench test is not automatically a design that ships. We bridge the gap between a founder's vision and a factory's reality.

Why we're different

Most PCB brokers forward your Gerber to the cheapest factory and hope for the best. We do the opposite: our senior engineers review every design before it reaches production — flagging DFM issues, thermal risks, impedance mismatches, and stack-up choices that would fail at scale. Fewer than one in ten hardware founders have spent time on a production floor. Our engineers have.

We also own our technology. Our proprietary TL2301 ceramic insulation coating— rated from −85 °C to 400 °C, with >50 kV/mm dielectric strength and 3 W/m·K thermal conductivity — gives metal-core PCB customers a thermal-management edge that no generic factory can offer. It's not a resold commodity. It's ours.

How we manufacture

We don't own a factory — and that's intentional. We operate a curated network of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and UL-certified manufacturing partners, each selected for a specific strength: metal-core and thermal substrates, high-layer-count FR-4, PTFE and hydrocarbon RF materials, heavy copper, and HDI. Your board goes to the partner best suited for it — not whichever one happens to have spare capacity.

Combined annual capacity exceeds 50,000 m² across our network, with full in-house process lines: lamination, drilling, plating, patterning, solder mask, surface finish, electrical test, AOI/AVI, and cross-section lab. Every order is traceable from raw laminate to final inspection.

Where we've shipped

Volume production for automotive tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers. Production boards for dental imaging and medical devices. R&D and prototype builds for semiconductor test and packaging. High-power LED engines. Industrial motor drives. RF communication equipment. If your application pushes thermal, electrical, or mechanical limits, we've probably seen something like it before.

The bottom line

We exist because we watched too many talented hardware teams burn funding on respins, miss windows on certification, and treat supply chain as a "later stage" problem. It isn't. If you're building something that has to work — at temperature, at voltage, at scale — talk to us before you tape out. It costs less than a respin.
